GROOMER
I have been working with dogs for over 27 years.
First as a veterinary technician before training and moving into emergency veterinary medicine.
I worked in specialty hospitals in NYC, Florida and North Carolina as well as with the Humane Law Enforcement division at the ASPCA in NYC.
I started grooming while working as a ICU nurse and was professionally trained and graduated from The New York School of Dog Grooming in Manhattan in June of 2003. I worked in an upscale Manhattan salon before moving to North Carolina in 2005.
I treat the dogs in my care with the love, tenderness, and the understanding that I would want my own dogs shown. I believe that grooming does not have to be a scary and rushed process. It can be enjoyable once trust is established, and once your dog knows what to expect during their time in the salon.
I only have 3 or less dogs in the salon at a time and promote a calm and relaxed environment.
Most grooming is completed within 3 hours - as long as they are not matted.
